Dimitris Kamperidis (Drama 1946 - 12 September 2010) was a Greek actor. He studied at the Drama School of the National Theatre and Pellos Katselis. While still a student, he participated in performances at the National Theatre and the State Theatre of Northern Greece (NTNG), but also as a dancer in the Choirika group of Zouzou Nikoloudi. He made his professional debut as an actor at the People's Theatre of Manos Katrakis and was a founding member of the core that created the Free Theatre (as a member of the group of graduates of the school in 1970). In the 1980s, together with other members of the Free Theatre, they created the "Amore" theatre and the "Theater of Athens" group. He had collaborated in dozens of performances with the Art Theater, the Spyros Evangelatos Amphitheater, the National Theater, the National Theatre of Greece and many independent troupes. In the three-year period 2003-2006, he participated in a series of productions of the National Theatre of Greece such as Katerinaki from Heilbronn by Heinrich von Kleist (2003), Irene by Aristophanes (2005), Ivanov by Anton Chekhov (2005), Iphigenia in Tauris by Euripides (2006), etc. He also appeared in many television series and many films by Theodoros Angelopoulos, Pantelis Voulgaris, Lakis Papastathis, Nikos Smaragdis, etc. He became particularly well-known to the general public from the television series Logo Timis, Eisas to tairio mou and Sto kamping. In addition, he had written a novella, entitled The Ark of Pelagia.
